Refund & Returns Policy – AdukkalaShop

Overview

At AdukkalaShop, our refund and returns policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines
  • Intimate or sanitary products
  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable liquids or gases

Additional non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Selected health and personal care items

Proof of Purchase

To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted in the following cases:

  • Books with obvious signs of use
  • Opened CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to our error)
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed and credited to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your credit card company (processing time may vary)
  • Contact your bank for further clarification

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange for the same item, email us at care@adukkalashop.in with details of the issue. Shipping instructions will be shared after verification.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit once the return is approved.

If the gift was shipped to the purchaser first, the refund will be issued to the original buyer.

Shipping Returns

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund if applicable.

For high-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
